According to Dave Meltzer on the Wrestling Observer Radio, The Undertaker is no longer scheduled for a match at Summer-Slam. Local advertisements had Undertaker facing Drew McIntyre at SummerSlam, but this is no longer the case. Meltzer: “Things can change, we still got a month. Whatever it is, they have a lineup for the show and he’s not on it.”
Another interesting case is Finn Balor. According to Pro Wrestling Sheet, Finn Balor has asked WWE for two months off after Summer-Slam. On last week’s RAW, he was attacked by Bray Wyatt. Meltzer reported, Balor will be taking on Bray Wyatt at Summerslam. But at this point Finn Balor is expected to perform as The Demon at SummerSlam. It would make sense to save a “Demon” appearance for a re-match after his return from his time off.
Summer-Slam 2019 will take place at the Scotiabank Arena in Toronto, Canada on August, 11th. 3 matches have been announced so far.
