A year after suffering a devastating knee injury, Tegan Nox returned to in-ring action yesterday at an NXT Live Event in Orlando, Florida. She teamed with Jessi Kamea in a match against Aliyah and Vanessa Borne. Nox pinned Borne after hitting her with a fireman’s carry stunner.
Nox had been out of action after suffering multiple injuries to her knee during last year’s Mae Young Classic tapings. She revealed that her knee basically “exploded” with a dislocated knee cap, a tear of the MCL & LCL, a full ACL tear and both meniscus, bone contusions and a second fracture of her left tibia. This happened one year after she missed the first Mae Young Classic due to a torn ACL on her other knee.
Other superstars reacted to Nox’ return to the ring.
… but most importantly, she bacc 🥰
