On Saturday at AEW’s third show Fight For The Fallen, Dustin Rhodes was the Main Event. He teamed with his brother Cody to take on the Young Bucks. And even though his AEW run has rejunivated him, most notable by his recent 5-star classic with brother Cody at Double or Nothing, it is clear he has less years ahead of him in his wrestling career than behind him.
So naturally, he is at a point, where he wants to give back to the wrestling business. And AEW has plenty of talented young wrestlers, who could immensely benefit from the 30+ years of experience in this industry.
In the Preshow “The Buyin” of AEW Fight for the Fallen”, the team of Britt Baker and Riho faced off against Bea Priestley and Shoko Nakahjima. One of the participants in the match caught Rhodes’s eye in particular. He wrote on twitter: “One person who impressed me at AEW #FFTF with her lay it in, rough Style, was Bea Priestley.”
And he even offered an idea, how he could help her take the next step in developing her wrestling character. Dustin Rhodes: “I could teach her to harness some character storytelling with her style. She looks good and will only get better.”
This compliment did not go unnoticed and Bea Priestley replied on twitter: “Thank you so much! This means the world!”
Bea Priestley has caught some criticism after the show, many believe it was her kick to Britt Baker’s head, that caused the severe concussion Baker suffered during the match.
