“Road Dogg” Brian James’ New Role At The WWE Performance Center

According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, James is now working full-time at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando. He is currently teaching character development in his new role for WWE.

WON also noted that all of the WWE developmental talents in Orlando that were assigned to Mike Quackenbush’s classes were re-assigned to Road Dogg’s classes.

In December 2016 James started working on the writing team on SmackDown. He would later be promoted to lead writer of Smackdown. In April 2019 he stepped down from his position, but would remain with the company in an unspecified role.
