Over 5 months ago we last saw Sasha Banks in a WWE wrestling ring. Now photos and comments of the wrestling star give her fans hope that a comeback is possible in the near future.
Mercedes Varnado, her real name, has had an eventful week in Barcelona. Together with her business partners Samuray Del Sol and his wife Lady Lucha, they participated in the World CBA Awards and won the prize for best newcomer brand.
The group combined their business meeting with a visit to the local wrestling scene. Samuraj Del Sol had a match for Lucha Libre Barcelona. Sasha Banks also did not stay away from the ring. She visited a training session and apparently she was not only watching, but was active in the ring herself. She posted an instagram photo in which she put on her training clothes with the caption “It’s go time”.
The next day they visited the wrestling show of RCW Spain. Backstage there was a meeting between Sasha Banks and Tokyo Joshi Pro Wrestling star Miyu Yamashita. The Japanese star also recently made appearances for AEW and earned a championship match for the AEW Women’s World Title.
